Sample Itinerary
- 4WD Safety Briefing - the day prior to departure at 3:00pm or morning of departure 6:30am
- Pick up the vehicle and depart for River Heads Barge - 7.30am (takes 1/2 to travel)
- Barge departure - 8:30am or 9:00am
- Arrive K'gari (Fraser Island) at Wanggoolba Creek - approx 9:00-10:00am
- Visit Lake McKenzie / Central Station
- Drive along the eastern beach to Eli Creek, Maheno Ship Wreck & the Pinnacles (depending on tide times)
- Return to Wanggoolba Creek for 5:00pm barge departure.
Depart / Return
- Safety Brief Times: 3:00pm on the day before departure or 6:30am on the day of departure.
- Barge transfers 8:30am or 9:00am
- Return Transfer 5:00pm

Important Information
- Barge transfers & vehicle permits are not included. Fraser Dingo will discuss how to book these with you upon booking.
- Driver must be 25+ and hold a current open drivers license
- You must be 25 years old to hire the car and 23 years old with a minimum 2 years of full license to drive. Hire is not allowed if everyone in the group is under 25.
- If all adults are over 25, we hold a $2,500 security bond with an excess liability of $4,000. For groups with adults under 25, we hold a $5,000 security bond with an excess liability of $6,000.
- This tour may not be suitable if you have any existing neck or back problems or are pregnant. Check with your agent to make sure this tour is suitable for you.
- Please note: 1 Day hire has a kilometre limit of 150km – it does not allow you to go to Indian Head or Champagne Pools – the hire limit on the Eastern Beach is The Pinnacles as per contract.
- Vehicles do not have air-conditioning
- International Travellers need to be covered by travel insurance
- Vehicle to be returned cleaned and re-fueled

- $10 per person barge levy payable to the operator
Cancellations
All cancellations forfeit 50% of the recommended retail price (RRP) - not the discounted/sale price. No shows or client cancellations made within 30 days of departure forfeit 100% of the total ticket price.
A refund in the event of cancellation is subject to both our Cancellation Policy and the terms of the supplier.
