When is the best time to travel Australia?
Australia is a beautiful and relatively warm country for backpackers all year round. If you're looking to travel further for less on a budget, do your trip in winter (June, July & August) or spring (September, October and November). These off-seasons are comfortably cooler than summer, and you can spot whales off the East Coast!
If you're travelling in Summer (December, January and February), make sure you pre-book further in advance and be prepared for some increased costs in tours, transport and accommodation.
