Important Information
Boat Driver
- Boat driver must be 25 years or older with a valid driver's license. The driver is not allowed to drink alcohol.
Holidays
- A 15% surcharge applies on public holidays.
- An additional $50 surcharge applies to each booking between 20th Dec 2025 – 4th Jan 2026.
Bond
- All hires must pay a bond of a $1000 and must adhere to the hire agreement and verbal directions.
- Bonds can be paid with credit card or cash in person.
Alcohol & Behaviour
- Excessive noise, excessive alcohol consumption, and inappropriate behaviour may result in an immediate cancellation of your hire with no refund.
- Homemade spirit mixtures are not allowed.

Cancellations
You may cancel your booking up to 48 hours before your booking for a refund minus an admin fee of $100.00. If you cancel within 48 hours prior to departure there will be no refund.
A refund in the event of cancellation is subject to both our Cancellation Policy and the terms of the supplier.

Do we need a boat license to drive the boat?
No, a boat license is not required. However, if you want to enquire about booking a boat hire for more than 12 people, a boat license will be required.
Is there a minimum age requirement to drive the boat?
Boat drivers must be a minimum of 25 years of age and must hold a current car driver's licence.
What features does the boat have?
The pontoon boat has space for 12 people, as well as flushing toilets, a sink, garbage bin, pizza oven, and BBQ onboard.

Yes, life jackets are onboard in various sizes.
How early should we check in to pick up the boat?
Please arrive 30 minutes ahead of your scheduled time so you can attend the safety briefing on the boat.
Can we BYO?
Yes! Spirits can only be in premixed cans or bottles from the bottle shop unopened. Homemade mixes will not be allowed on the boat. Beer and wine are allowed. Alcohol is to be consumed in sensible amounts for the duration of your hire only.
What if the weather is bad on the day of our booking?
On the day of your hire, Luxury Boat Hire Noosa will contact you in the morning if the weather is deemed ‘unsafe’. Luxury Boat Hire Noosa may give you a credit to use on another day of your choosing. There will be no refunds due to weather unless the conditions are deemed ‘unsafe’ conditions by Luxury Boat Hire Noosa on the day of your hire.
