    Day 1:

    The adventure begins!

The tour has three departure points; Brisbane at 6:45am, Noosa at 9am and Rainbow Beach at 11am. Wherever you jump on, you'll be having lunch at Rainbow Beach. Enjoy a delicious spread of cold meats, picnic salads, fresh fruit, cakes, wraps, bread rolls and cold drinks. Take time to explore Rainbow Beach, check out the beach and wander through the local shops. You could even hike up to Double Island Lighthouse for great photo opportunities before boarding the ferry to Fraser Island!

    Hello Fraser Island!

Arrive on Fraser Island and hit the sand! 4WD on the famous 75 Mile Beach, a beach of endless golden sand that runs the length of the island. Reach Eli Creek for a refreshing and much needed dip! The water in the creek is so pure you can drink it - so bring your water bottle along for a free refill! The next stop is the Maheno Shipwreck. The guides will tell you all about the wreckage that was washed onto the island's shores over 100 years ago! One last stop before settling in for the night... Lake Wabby! It's the island's deepest lake and it's stunning!

Sleep in a cosy cabin in the National Park

After 4WDing through the rainforest, you will reach your lodgings for the night where you can enjoy a well-deserved feast! Your cabin is located only 50 metres from Fraser Island's surf beach, and offers simple comforts in a tranquil area of the island. Indulge in a BBQ dinner, and before settling in for the night, enjoy a hot drink with the group and toast marshmallows around a campfire where you can all chat about the highlights of your busy day!

    Day 2:

Watch the sunrise over the beach

One of the best things about Fraser Island are the sunrises. Rise early enough to catch the sunrise over the ocean - get your crew together and enjoy a leisurely beach walk or grab a cup of tea or coffee and soak in the beauty of the morning. Return to the Eurong Beach Resort for an energising breakfast consisting of fresh fruit, cereals, toast, bread and delicious spreads.

    Visit Lake McKenzie

Lake McKenzie is one of the most photographed spots on Fraser Island. The turquoise blue waters paired with white sandy shores make for the ultimate backdrop to any photo. 4WD with your group to the hotspot and spend the morning taking in the unique lake, made up solely of rainwater. A fun fact about Lake McKenzie is that you won't see any marine life swimming around in the crystal clear waters - just ask your guides why!

Explore more iconic Fraser Island locations

Your guides will take you through the island's dense Satinay rainforest and will show you walking tracks you can explore. There's a boardwalk that follows the tranquil Wanggoolba Creek that is filled with natural wonders. Spot a giant King Fern and keep a look out for Australian wildlife. You will stop for lunch (this one is at your own cost) before 4WDing one last time through the forest either via Lake Boomanjin or Eurong Beach Resort (depending on the tides) before hopping back on the ferry to head home. Drop off will be Rainbow Beach, Noosa or Brisbane.

It is the responsibility of all passengers travelling to advise both your travel agent at the time of booking and vessel check-in agent before boarding of any medical conditions including food allergies you may suffer from.

You need to allow adequate time to check-in prior to the specified departure time.

Whilst we make every effort to safeguard clients, we cannot be responsible for personal injury or loss due to the actions of our clients which are beyond our control. We highly recommend that all clients have travel insurance covering illness, injury, loss or damage to personal belongings and not being able to travel on the confirmed date of departure. You should also ensure your travel insurance will cover special circumstances including weather events preventing guests from travelling to their tour departure destination and cancelled flights due to unforeseen circumstances.

If the Service Operator has to cancel the trip or activity (prior to departure) and we cannot offer a suitable alternative, then a refund will be given minus a 20% administration fee and any associated card fees. We strongly recommend that you have travel insurance, especially during the wet season.

In the unlikely event of your trip being cancelled or stood down, all guest communication is required to go through our Online Store via telephone or email. While there is a Sailing Whitsundays retail outlet located Airlie Beach, please be aware that they operate as a separate entity and are unable to access reservations made by the Mr Travel online department.
