How long is the trip?
It's up to you! When you purchase this package, you purchase 2 individual tours at a discounted rate. Our friendly travel agents will book you into your preferred dates for each tour (a 2-day, 2-night Whitsundays sailing tour and a 2-day, 1-night tour of K'gari (Fraser Island). Please note that dates are subject to availability.
We recommend giving yourself two weeks for the entire package so you have time to explore the East Coast of Australia in between your two tours. Chat with our travel agents in the chat box if you need help with accommodation, transport, tours, or itineraries!
Which tour is first?
You can choose! Whether you start with your Whitsunday sailing trip and finish with your K'gari tour, or vice versa, these tours can work around your schedule.
How long does it take to travel between the Whitsundays and K'gari (Fraser Island)?
The journey between Rainbow Beach and Airlie Beach is an 11-hour drive without stops. The Greyhound Bus takes between 14.5 to 16.5 hours for this journey. We recommend giving yourself two weeks for this package, allowing plenty of time to explore the East Coast of Australia!
Is transport included?
Transport is not included in the standard package. However, a Greyhound Whitmit Bus Pass is a popular add-on and we can offer you a discounted rate if you need help getting from A to B. Opt for the package + Whimit Bus Pass option at checkout, or live chat with our travel agents and we'll help you organize a campervan or other form of travel.
Is accommodation included?
In total, this package includes 3 nights of accommodation. You will spend 3 nights aboard Entice in a comfortable shared cabin, and 1 night at K'gari Beach Resort in a shared hotel room on K'gari (Fraser Island).
Accommodation between K'gari and Airlie Beach is not included, but our travel agents can help you book premium hostels along the East Coast. Just enquire in the live chat about discount deals and we'll help you plan your trip!
Can I do the trips back to back?
Due to the 11-hour journey between Airlie Beach and Rainbow Beach, we recommend giving yourself at least one or two days between the end of your first tour and the beginning of your second.
Is food included?
Entice is all-inclusive and all meals are freshly prepared on board. View the sample menu here.
K'gari Explorer Tours includes breakfast and lunch, but dinner is at your own expense. There is an on-site restaurant at K'gari Beach Resort where you can buy a delicious dinner!
Can my dietary requirements be catered for?
Common dietary requirements like vegetarian and gluten-free can be catered for upon request. If you have any dietary requirements, please let our travel agents know ASAP so they can arrange it for you. Entice charges a fee of $10 per day for special diets.
Can I bring my children?
The minimum age for this package is 6 years old, and any passengers under 18 need to be booked in with their parents in private rooms.
