Your K'gari Explorer trip is the perfect mix between comfort, adventure and island luxury! Start by making your way along the highway on 75 Mile Beach, where you will get to enjoy the thrill of the ride as you check out the amazing sights along the way. One of your first stops will be to Wanggoolba Creek at Central Station, surrounded by lush green rainforests and giant ferns. A clear creek is a great place for animal spotting and exploring before you make your way to the next stop - Lake McKenzie. Lake McKenzie is one of the most famous stops on K'gari and is certainly one of the best swimming spots. The clear lake and soft sands are a great place to have fun, swim, relax and take in the sights. Guests will also get to go for a dip at their next stop, Lake Wabby, another freshwater lake on K'gari. You will end your day at Eurong Beach Resort where guests will spend the night. Your second day will also start bright and early with your first destination as Eli Creek. The famous lazy creek is a great place to float downstream through the green forests and refreshing waters, coming out on the beach below. Afterwards stop for a look at Maheno Shipwreck, K'gari's resident shipwreck! The rusty hull sits right on the beach where you can take a close look and snap some amazing photos before moving on. You will next stop at the Coloured Sands, where you can explore and discover 72 hues of red and yellow layers that provide a kaleidoscope of colour and a great photo opportunity. Afterwards head to K'gari's most well-known lookout, Indian Head, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the Coral Sea and coastline!
