K'gari (Fraser Island) Tide Times 2024
Driving on K'gari (Fraser Island) is one of the best experiences you can have on Australia's East Coast! As the world's largest sand island, K'gari is composed of enchanting rainforests, pristine perched lakes, and a whole bunch of beautiful wildlife and nature. 75 Mile Beach is the famous Sand Highway that runs the length of K'gari's Eastern Shore, and driving a 4WD along this route is so much fun!
Before you get behind the wheel, it's important to familiarise yourself with the current tide times on K'gari (Fraser Island). You can only drive within 2 hours before or after low tide when the sand on the beach is compact and dry. Driving too close to high tide can be dangerous and damaging to your vehicle.
