Tag Along with Fraser Dingo
Hop in your vehicle and away you go! Fraser Dingo's tag along option allows guests to drive on K'gari so you can take part in the 4WD adventure! You, along with 6 other guests, will have a vehicle at your disposal as you explore K'gari (Fraser Island) - no experience needed! Follow the lead car, piloted by your guide, to all of K'gari's best destinations and enjoy the thrill of driving. But don't worry - you don't have to drive. You can also choose to sit back and relax as someone else navigates the sand highway!
Drivers must be 21 years of age and have an open license. Safey briefings and driving instructions included at the start of the tour.

- MANDATORY safety briefing at 7:15AM at our office the morning of departure (Pickups begin from 7am, please be waiting outside and ready for pickup. We depart for the ferry at 8:15AM for a 9AM ferry departure)
- Guests wanting to drive must be over 21 with a current license
- Free Passenger pick-up from major Hervey Bay hostels.
- A credit card imprint is required for drivers (no funds held).
- You will receive an informational email 3 days prior to departure that must be answered by 9:30AM the day prior to departure.
- Please note this tour may not be suitable if you have existing neck or back problems or are pregnant. Check with your agent to make sure this tour is suitable for you.
- Tour is suitable for those aged 18 and up (or 16+ with a guardian).
- Drivers must be 21 years old.

What's Extra
- Luggage storage available for $20 per bag. You can only bring a small backpack on tour, there is not enough space on the vehicles to bring suitcases/travel backpacks!
- Secure vehicle storage is available for $20 per day (no motorhomes), however there are limited spaces available. You can also use free street parking.
- Gluten free diets are $5 extra per day.
Cancellations
All cancellations forfeit 25% of the recommended retail price (RRP) - not the discounted/sale price.
No cancellations, refunds, or date changes within 7 days of departure date. No shows or client cancellations made within 7 days of departure forfeit 100% of the total ticket price.
A refund in the event of cancellation is subject to both our Cancellation Policy and the terms of the supplier.

Is there an age restriction for this tour?
This tour is suitable for anyone over the age of 18. With a guardian, travellers ages 16 or 17 may join. Note that drivers have to be at least 21 years of age.
Are showers and toilets available?
You will be staying at our private beach house accommodation with quad share rooms and shower/toilet facilities.
Is there drinking water available?
There is fresh drinking water available at K'gari Beach Resort, plus some refillable water stations at various locations around the island. We recommend bringing a refillable water bottle so you can top-up whenever necessary.
Is there luggage storage available?
Guests should only bring a small backpack with their necessities for the tour. Any excess luggage can be organized for $20 per backpack or suitcase.
Can my dietary requirements be catered for?
Yes! Please let us know at the time of booking if you have any specific allergies or dietary requirements. Gluten free diets are $5 extra per day.
Can I join this tour if I'm pregnant?
Yes, however, you have to have clearance from a doctor as the terrain on K'gari is very rugged. Those in the third trimester should reconsider.
Do I have to drive on the tour?
No! Driving on a tag-along tour is optional. You can just sit back and relax as a passenger if you don't want to drive.
