Unofficially the best beach bar on K’gari, Sunset Bar is located on the island’s west at the iconic Kingfisher Bay! With beach bean bags, umbrellas in the sand, and indulgent deck spaces, Sunset Bar is the ideal venue to sip on a cocktail, laze in the golden rays, and mingle with fellow East Coast travellers. With relaxed coastal tunes and a delicious selection of platters on offer, this is the perfect place to kick back after a day of island fun!

Now, let’s cruise to K’gari’s sandy eastern stretches - Orchid Beach! Running for 14.5km, Orchid Beach is a shining mecca for beach fishing and boating adventures. After a day of salty thrill, head to the Orchid Beach Trading Post and Driftwood Bar for a relaxed Aussie pub experience.
