Where to Park in Noosa

Noosa is a trendy but relaxed beachside town with an abundance of designer shops and boutiques, cosmopolitan cafes, alfresco dining and popular bars in amongst the idyllic beaches and subtropical coastal greenery. If you’re wondering where can you park while you’re exploring the cultural hub of Noosa and taking in the sights, we’ve got you covered. Here’s a list of places to park your car in Noosa:

Learning to Surf in Noosa, Queensland Australia

Free Parking Options

Over 50 free parking spots are available at the Noosa Surf Club. Take a swim at the beach under the watchful eyes of the surf lifesavers or enjoy the on-site bar and restaurant. The J, Noosa’s premier entertainment and community venue, offers free on-site parking for up to 220 cars. The J is located at 60 Noosa Drive, Noosa Junction. 

There are over 1500 free car parking spaces in and around the Noosa Junction precinct. Car parks are located at the Cinema, underground at Noosa Junction Plaza, at the Noosa Transit Station and in front of the old Bowls Club. There is also plenty of street parking but always check parking signs carefully for time restrictions to avoid a fine. 170 car parks can be found at Noosa National Park if you get there early and they are free for up to 2 hours.

Noosa Fair Shopping Centre has 423 free parking spaces available and many are undercover but beware of exceeding the 2-hour limit while you’re immersed in shopping! Lions Park also has a large car park that offers free parking for up to 4 hours at Noosa Heads. And finally, a little further out by still only 10 minutes from Noosa’s famous Hastings Street, you will find Noosa Civic - a large shopping centre with 100 specialty stores and a large free car park.


Free Park ‘n Ride Holiday Buses

During the Easter and Christmas holidays, the Noosa Council provides a free Park ‘n Ride Loop Bus which travels between Hastings Street, Noosa Junction and Weyba Road, Noosaville every 15 minutes between 7am and 7pm daily. While this service is provided by Sunbus, 6 other Translink bus routes that service the area will also be free at these times. Paid Parking Options

If you’re visiting the Noosa Marina for a boat tour, some shopping or a bite to eat you will find plenty of car spaces available. The first 3 hours are free but you will need to pay for a longer stay. The Bay Village a retail hub located in the heart of Noosa’s iconic Hastings Street and has its own on-site two-storey car park off Noosa Parade. There are 130 car park spaces that are free for up to 1 hour and are then charged at hourly intervals after that with the highest daily fee of $40 for 24 hours.
