- The itinerary is subject to change due to tides and weather conditions.
- Guests ages one and above are welcome. Children aged 1-3 years old travel free but must be able to sit is a forward-facing car seat. Please advise if infants will be travelling when booking.
- Children under 7 must have a forward-facing car seat. Passengers must bring their own.
- Adult and child fares are booked separately. One adult + one child = shared double room.
- Tour may not be suitable if you have existing neck or back problems or are pregnant. Check with your agent to make sure this tour is suitable for you.

Bookings cancelled more than 48 hrs prior to departure will not incur a cancellation fee.
Bookings cancelled between 24 - 48 hrs prior to departure will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

Is drinking water provided on K'gari?
Yes, and it is recommended to bring your own refillable water bottle. There is a water refill station on the bus, and there is fresh drinking water at K'gari Beach Resort.
How much luggage can we bring?
Travellers are allowed to bring up to 2 bags, weighing 25kg total. We recommend bringing a small day bag to keep with you on the bus, and you can store a larger bag in the cargo hold below.
Can we start and finish the tour in different locations?
It is recommended to start and end your tour at the same location in Hervey Bay. Each K'gari Explorer tour runs a different itinerary based on the tides, so if you were to swap tours in the hopes of returning to Rainbow Beach or elsewhere, you may end up repeating some activities.
Can I join this tour if I'm pregnant?
Any K'gari tours will include four-wheel driving across bumpy terrain. Therefore, anyone who is pregnant or has back problems should consult their doctor before booking.
Are meals included?
Breakfast and lunches are included. Dinner is at your own expense, and there is a great restaurant at K'gari Beach Resort where you can purchase a delicious dinner.
