Day One
Explore the World Heritage wilderness of K'gari (Fraser Island) with an experienced friendly eco guide and driver on this 3-day 4WD small-group tour!
Your guide will meet and greet you with 4WD check areas in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. This guide and driver will stay with you for the 3-day tour. Depart Brisbane travelling north via Noosa, Noosa River Ferry to Cooloola National Park and Rainbow Beach Coloured Sands. Take time to relax, visit the local beach to swim overlooking coloured sands or wander through the local shops.
By 4WD travel to Inskip Point and board the ferry to Fraser Island's southern tip. With your local friendly tour guide and small group travel along Hook Point onto the famous 75 Mile Surf Beach. The 4WD with cross freshwater creeks as your guide gives detailed stories both old and new. We arrive at the 4WD track into the rainforest. Look out the windows and enjoy the sounds and sights of the forest, before arriving at Central Station Rainforest. Take the Pile Valley rainforest walk beside beautiful Wanggoolba Creek, and onwards into the old Satinay Forest.
Then move on to swim in the clear blue waters of Lake McKenzie and soak up the sun on the white sandy beaches. National Park change rooms and facilities are provided at Lake McKenzie. This tour allows for the full afternoon to be spent at this wonderful lake, time take to enjoy, walk, hike and relax.
Arrive at your accommodation for a relaxing night.
Day Two
Enjoy the hot country buffet breakfast (included) before your guide and 4WD board up and travelling across the island by sand dunes and mountain ranges to the world's most amazing beach highway, 4WD Cornwells Break Road and Poyungan Rocks to Yidney Beach with your guide. Arrive at the famous Eli Creek, enjoy the boardwalk swim, and relax. See the coloured sand formations at the Pinnacles take time for a photo and beach walk in the distance see the famous Maheno Shipwreck.
After a fresh picnic lunch and cold drinks surfside (included), travel further north along the 75-mile surf beach to Indian Head. Walk this rugged lookout - spot turtles, sharks, dolphins and humpback whales (June - Nov). Later relax or cool down with a swim in the Champagne Pools.
Return to your resort for another night of relaxation.
Day Three
After a hot buffet breakfast (included), travel with your experienced guide via inland tracks, past tall palms and rainforest plants before arriving at the beach entrance to famous Lake Wabby. This green lake, the deepest on the island, is slowly filling with sand. Enjoy a swim and explore this unique sand blow.

Terms and Conditions
Important Information:
- Please note this tour may not be suitable if you have existing neck or back problems or are pregnant. Check with your agent to make sure this tour is suitable for you.
- $50.00 per person per day to be paid for National Park fees, daily permits, ferry fees payable each day to guide ($150 pp in fees in total).
- Children over age 5 are permitted to join, but you must bring your own car seat as Sunrover does not provide them.
- Children under 7 must have a forward-facing car seat. Passengers must bring their own.
- Any suitcases and/or large backpacks (luggage) over 5kg will incur a $40.00 per item surcharge
Your Responsibilities:
Please advise us before booking if any passengers are under 18 years old to ensure this is the appropriate trip.
You must reconfirm all booked tours prior to travel as specified on your voucher. If applicable, notes such as dietary requirements, pick-up locations and additional fees should also be confirmed at this time. Reconfirmations cannot be actioned through Fraser Tours / Mr Travel, and must be done so directly through the Service Operator as specified on each ticket.
It is your responsibility to notify us of ticket discrepancies. Please read through the details on your voucher thoroughly to ensure all details such as passenger names, ages and dates of travel on vouchers are correct.
It is the responsibility of all passengers travelling to advise both your travel agent at the time of booking and vessel check-in agent before boarding of any medical conditions including food allergies you may suffer from.
You need to allow adequate time to check-in prior to the specified departure time.
Prices/Extra Costs:
All prices are stated in Australian dollars and include GST. Surcharges over peak holiday seasons may apply.
The Service Operator reserves the right to alter prices and extra costs. Extra costs may include EMC fees, Stingersuit/Wetsuit Hire, Luggage Storage, Insurance, Linen Hire, National Park Fees, Fuel Levies, Dietary Fees, etc. Bonds may also apply.
We will also endeavour to communicate these extra costs with you at the time of booking, and on your ticket. However, it is your responsibility to confirm which (if any) additional costs apply with each Service Operator upon reconfirming your trip.
Travel Risk/Insurance:
It should be noted that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard clients, we cannot be responsible for personal injury or loss due to the actions of our clients which are beyond our control. We highly recommend that all clients have travel insurance covering illness, injury, loss or damage to personal belongings and not being able to travel on the confirmed date of departure. You should also ensure your travel insurance will cover special circumstances including weather events preventing guests from travelling to their tour departure destination and cancelled flights due to unforeseen circumstances.
Merchant Fees:
Please be aware operators pass on credit card merchant fees so there is a non-refundable 1% surcharge for VISA and MASTERCARD card purchases.

All ticket/voucher reissues attract a $20 administration fee.
Open Date Vouchers / Gift Certificate:
Shipping Costs are in addition to the ticket price and will be added at check-out. Shipping costs are non-refundable and do not makeup part of the ticket value.
E-Vouchers incur no shipping fees.
You have 5 years to use the value of the voucher. Seasonal Price Rises will apply if travelling out the current seasons pricing. Vouchers can be exchanged for free up to the full value of the voucher excluding credit card fees and charges.
Cancellations
Client Cancellations:
All cancellations forfeit 75% of the recommended retail price (RRP) - not the discounted/sale price. No shows or client cancellations made within 30 days of departure forfeit 100% of the total ticket price.
Transfers between tours can be made at the suppliers discretion, however, it should be noted that supplier fees may apply. Tour transfers also incur a $20 administration fee.
It is compulsory that all cancellation requests are in writing and sent via email to admin@mr-travel.com. Cancellations attempted via online chat or phone will not be actioned.
Supplier Cancellations:
The Service Operator reserves the right to alter prices, alter itineraries, apply a fuel surcharge, cancel departures, arrange alternative transport and vary itineraries and services if necessary.
All departures and itineraries are subject to weather. Tours may be changed or cancelled for any reason at the discretion of the Service Operator. If the Service Operator has to cancel the trip or activity (prior to departure) and we cannot offer a suitable alternative, then a refund will be given minus a 20% administration fee and any associated card fees. We strongly recommend that you have travel insurance, especially during the wet season.
In the unlikely event of your trip being cancelled or stood down, all guest communication is required to go through our Online Store via telephone or email. While there is a Sailing Whitsundays retail outlet located Airlie Beach, please be aware that they operate as a separate entity and are unable to access reservations made by the Mr Travel online department.
Refunds:
All refunds are in Australian Dollars and must be made to the card of payment. Sailing Whitsundays/Mr Travel is not liable for exchange rate fluctuations or fees, or any other merchant/bank fees associated with domestic and/or international transactions.
Where a full refund is applicable, there is the option to transfer the whole cost of the tour to another tour or “Credit” to avoid the administration fee. A transfer fee of $20 will apply.
You will be emailed confirmation once the refund has been processed. Once the refund has been processed, it may still take time for the banks to clear the amount. Please allow 7-10 business days for the funds to clear into Australian accounts and up to 21 business days for international accounts.
Accountability/Misconduct:
All Service Operators have the right to provide client feedback and to cancel bookings based off of feedback from other Service Operators.

Sailing Whitsundays/Mr Travel will treat this as any normal client cancellation and therefore the cancellation fees stated in the Client Cancellation Policy will apply.

Is drinking water provided?
Yes, cold water is provided with lunch and drinking water is available at all accommodations. Bring a reusable drink bottle so you can refill!
Is there wheelchair accessibility on K'gari (Fraser Island)
Unfortunately no, there is no wheelchair access on K'gari. The resorts may be wheelchair-friendly, but the island itself is made of sand and all the tracks to access any sights and attractions are rough and sandy.
Are there age limits on this tour?
Children must be at least 5 years of age. There are no age limits beyond that! We do not provide car seats so you must bring your own if you need one.
Does this tour cater to dietary requirements?
Yes, most dietary needs can be catered for but we do not offer halal.
How long will we have at each attraction during the tour?
You will spend at least an hour at all the major sites on tour.
Can I join the tour if I'm pregnant?
The choice is yours, but we highly recommend pregnant women not join the tour as the tracks can be very rough and bumpy.
